This was the tallest vase I had made at the time. A combination of lots of practice pulling tall and the stability of throwing this death valley clay that helped me get this tall with control. I'm proud of the thickness and radial symmetry of this vase.
The splashing pattern was a beautiful accident when I was holding the vase at an angle and pouring the glaze.
