When I first threw this vase, it was really off center and lumpy-walled. I spent another hour at least carefully coaxing the walls to be smooth and shaping the vase into this egg-shape. Once the piece was leather hard, I realized that the bottom was pretty thick so I spent another hour hand trimming the inside >_< which is really an inconvenient process.
After all that work, I'm glad that this vase came out so lovely =)
