This was one of my first "puckered vases". I call these puckered vases because the rim is puckered like lips. I love how the glaze creates rippling streams of fluorescent pastel blues and greens. For this piece, I used copper red and rutile pink over matte white glaze. The copper red and rutile pink would be red and pink in reduction, but create these cool blues and greens in oxidation firing.
