Rods bod clay, like tuff buff, has a sandy texture and with the higher content of iron it has this lovely deep brick red and brown color. You can see speckles of lighter browns and tans throughout the clay.
Inside this vase I poured matte turquoise, which is a blue/purple color in reduction (although it's turquoise in oxidation).
