I think of sea urchins when I see this vase =)
I'm a fan of the deep speckles that result in the glazes on rods bod clay.
After making one sphere vase, I got into a phase of making lots of sphere vases. I love how the sphere shape creates curves in the dipped glazes and the linear patterns of masking tape.
